Description

Apical Root Elevator No. 3 is a precision dental instrument designed for controlled luxation and elevation of tooth roots and root fragments during dental extraction procedures. The MMI-53-222-03 features a straight working end with a broader 4.1 mm profile, providing increased surface contact for controlled engagement with root structures.

The Fig. 3 Apical pattern is part of a graduated series of straight Apical luxators, with the working-end width increasing from 2.2 mm in Fig. 1 to 3.2 mm in Fig. 2 and 4.1 mm in Fig. 3. This allows clinicians to select an appropriate instrument according to the required working profile.

The straight working end facilitates direct positioning along the root, while the tapered profile supports controlled insertion and engagement. The extended shaft provides effective reach, and the solid ergonomic handle allows secure handling and controlled manipulation during clinical procedures.
