Description

Bein Luxator Fig. 4A, Curved is a precision dental instrument designed for controlled luxation of teeth and tooth roots during dental extraction procedures. The MMI-53-221-04 features a broad, curved working end that facilitates controlled positioning and engagement around tooth and root structures.

The Fig. 4A configuration features a 5.0 mm working-end width, providing the broadest working profile within the curved Bein luxator series. Its increased surface area provides greater contact coverage when working around larger tooth and root structures or when a broader luxating surface is preferred.

The curved working profile assists with anatomical access and instrument orientation during extraction procedures. Its tapered transition toward the working end supports precise placement, while the broad tip provides a controlled contact surface for progressive tooth and root luxation.

Manufactured from premium surgical grade stainless steel, the instrument provides strength, corrosion resistance and dimensional stability for repeated professional use. Its high-polish finish supports efficient cleaning and maintenance, while the reusable and autoclavable construction makes it suitable for routine dental surgical workflows.

To maintain the performance, appearance, and service life of your stainless steel dental and surgical instruments, follow these care guidelines:

  • Clean instruments immediately after use to prevent blood, tissue, or debris from drying on the surface.
  • Wash using a neutral pH enzymatic detergent and a soft nylon brush. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh chemicals.
  • Rinse thoroughly with distilled or demineralized water to minimize mineral deposits and corrosion.
  • Dry completely before sterilization or storage, paying special attention to hinges, joints, and serrations where moisture can accumulate.
  • Lubricate hinged and moving instruments regularly with a medical-grade, steam-permeable instrument lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
  • Sterilize using validated autoclave procedures or other approved sterilization methods according to healthcare facility protocols and the instrument’s intended use.
  • Store instruments in a clean, dry environment with tips and cutting edges protected from impact or contact with other instruments.
  • Inspect instruments before each use for wear, corrosion, misalignment, or damage. Remove any defective instrument from service until repaired or replaced.
  • Do not expose stainless steel instruments to bleach, strong acids, high-chloride solutions, or prolonged soaking, as these may cause staining, pitting, or corrosion.
  • Use each instrument only for its intended purpose to preserve precision, functionality, and patient safety.
